God’s Word isn’t just something we read — it’s something we receive, remember, and carry with us. Over the next two months, our church family is walking together through Scripture to better understand:

  • Why God’s Word matters

  • How Jesus is the Word

  • How Scripture can be memorized, internalized, and lived out

This page is your central hub for Scripture memorization resources — for individuals, families, parents, and kids.

Primary Scriptures This Series:

  • John 1 (Weeks 1–4 — memorized in full)

  • Colossians (Weeks 5–8)

  • Genesis 1 (woven throughout, showing the unity of God’s Word)

    Here are a few ways to help Scripture take root:

    • Music — Singing Scripture helps us remember it naturally.

    • Repetition — Short, daily practice is more effective than long sessions.

    • Reading Aloud — Hearing Scripture spoken reinforces understanding.

    • Movement & Motions — Especially helpful for kids.

    • Consistency Over Perfection — Faithful practice matters more than speed.
