  • Addison & Kylie Messer

    Lebanon / YWAM

In January 2023, Addy and Kylie had been dating for a while and began seeking the Lord’s will for their future together. They felt the call to “go and stay.” After much prayer on what this would look like for them, they decided to attend a DTS (Discipleship Training School) through YWAM (Youth With A Mission). By April 2023 Addy and Kylie were engaged and then married by July 2023. They both realized going into missions together meant making this major life step first.

Now, they are going to attend a DTS in Beirut, Lebanon February 2024-July 2024. They’ll have 3 months of studying the word in Beirut, then 3 months of outreach. They plan to come back to WV afterwards and serve the community of Beckley and surrounding areas.

Please pray with them for protection and strength as they go into a dark corner of the world.

  • Dr. Martin and Wendy Williams

    The Jungle Hospital / Honduras

The Jungle Hospital was founded in 2007 by Dr. Martin & Wendy Williams. The Williams family has served in Honduras since 1994 with a vision to bring health, hope, and healing to people in the rural villages of Honduras. In November of 2007, the Jungle Hospital was dedicated and finally opened its doors to serve the people of the Cangrejal River Cove.  Since the opening of the hospital, our facilities have grown to include a dormitory to host visiting teams and practitioners, mid-term volunteer and intern housing, a Labor & Delivery Ward, as well as a Surgical & Recovery Ward. We have had over 53,000 patient consults at the hospital and in our surrounding community since we opened and have delivered 39 babies!

Our next phase of expansion is to build family housing in order to grow our team of medical providers and support staff. Construction of the children’s center will begin in the spring of 2023! God has blessed our efforts and is sending more volunteers to work at our hospital even as we build the needed housing. We give God all the glory and thank Him for His incredible faithfulness.

  • Esteban & Tifiny Valenzuela

    Madrid, Spain

The Valenzuela Family currently lives in Madrid, Spain where they have been actively planting the church RAÍCES MADRID since November of 2017.

Tifiny and Esteban came from very different homes. Tifiny grew up in a conservative Christian home where she was raised with biblical values. Esteban was raised in a much more liberal environment and lived wildly during his young adult years. Shortly after getting saved in 1999 the Lord took Esteban on an adventure that spanned the USA and Europe, eventually leading him to West Virginia where he met Tifiny in early 2004. After marrying in 2005 Esteban and Tifiny lived in Southern California where they worked and served in the local church. Within the next ten years the Lord added three beautiful children to our family.

In 2010 the Lord began to stir Esteban’s heart for Spain during a season of intense suffering and trials. While still serving in the local church the Lord confirmed the call to Spain between 2010 to 2014. Having the support of the church and the elders of CC Canyon Hills they launched out as a family of 5 to Spain, where they have residing since January of 2015.
